We have a remote server for you to access all of the software that you need remotely as if you were on campus using your personal computer. This is a server running windows like many of the computers we have in our campus computer labs.
Some of the software that you can use on the Terminal Services Server:
- MatLAB R2016a
- R & R studio
- GeoGebra
- Kinovea
- Office 2016 ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- As well as Chrome and Firefox to make browsing easy

Tips to make your experience on Terminal Services better
On Windows computers, your local drives on your personal computer will be mapped to the server. This is an easy way to transfer files between your computer and the server. You will see your drives in the file explorer as "Devices and Drives":
Unfortunately, this is not an option on Mac. Sometimes you can copy a file from your MAC and then paste it to the remote server, but this does not always work.
As a workaround for both Mac and Windows, we recommend using OneDrive to manage all your files, not just for Terminal Services. You can access one drive with the OneDrive icon on the desktop of the TS server.
